Experience and Education

Experience:

Two years of programming, systems, and/or Web design and development experience in a governmental or business operation.

Education:

Equivalent to graduation from college with major course work in data processing, computer science, graphic design, or a closely related field, and minor course work in business principles.

Job Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. The minimum level of experience is at least ten years working within the IT discipline, at least five years experience supporting GIS applications using ESRI suite of products, and at least two years experience supporting GeoMicro AltaMap server.

2. General Experience: Expertise in managing, and administering a consolidated and load-balanced GIS hosting infrastructure. Expertise in configuring and deploying GIS server products in Web environments using BIGIP load balancing methodology. Must have provided hands on technical support activities associated with integrating GIS web applications with Oracle Portal and Oracle Single-Sign-On/OID technology.
